Feature Description
Breath Weapon You can use your action to exhale destructive energy. Your draconic ancestry determines the size, shape, and damage type of the exhalation. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the area of the exhalation must make a saving throw, the type of which is determined by your draconic ancestry. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 +
your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d6 damage on a failed save, and half as much damage on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After you use your breath weapon, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest.
Frightful Presence Each creature of the dragon’s choice that is within a 15 foot radus of the dragon and aware of it must succeed on a DC 14 Wisdom saving throw or become frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature’s saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the dragon’s Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Bio:
My great great great grand mother was the first & only Barbarian to have a dragon as a spirit animal. When she was younger, on her ‘walk about’, during a huge storm that raged for 30 days and nights, she came across a cave to shelter in. Not long after a young dragon also found the cave. They both wanted the cave as shelter and fought for it. My grandmother fought well. The dragon out of grudging respect for her fierce skills, didn’t kill her & they both stayed in the cave. Over the 30 days & nights respect grew into a mutual understanding, which grew into an unexpected yet unpredictable friendship.

By the time they left the cave they realised their connection was deeper and that they were spiritually linked. They travelled together for many years and upon returning to her village – that had been ravaged by a horde of dragons they fought together to defeat the foe. There were only a few survivors and from then on the clan was known as Draxiddian the Dragon Clan.

They were so linked that when my grandmother died so did the dragon and their spirits merged together forming a blood red stone which I now wear around my neck. Since their death it had been prophesied that a child born of dragon fire would save the land from fire and complete destruction and tame the dragons.

When my mother was pregnant with me our clan was again attacked by dragons, burning through the village. While trying to flee my mother was killed and the only thing that was left was a crying baby laying amongst the ashes.
After many years of training, I have sent off in the search of my own dragon in preparation for the coming devastation.
