Benedict tries to leave arguments about right and wrong to others. He is loyal to his friends, not to any ideals, and everyone else can take a trip down the Styx for all he cares. He is usually upbeat and rascally, and never raises his voice or lets his emotions control him. Benedict was once a prince in line to the throne, but his identity was taken from him and he was left for dead. He seeks vengeance and what is rightfully his, so behind his relaxed demeanour is a very serious focus. When Benedict sees something valuable, he can’t think about anything but how to steal it. He lives to build the influence and money he needs to execute the perfect revenge and reclaim his land for the honour of his family and the good of his people.
At 20th level, Benedict sees himself having achieved his vengeance and restoring dignity to the people who remain in his rightful lands.
Benedict received the following message form the Head Priestess Alanna’s spirit:
“Tread carefully. Any mistake will be very costly. An army of the faithful will be needed. Time is short. Blood is thin. Only through great darkness can this little light be seen. A bane follows you as does a boon. Your faith will guide you, but it is your friends who will save you. You must learn to believe again or your house is already lost. You are running out of time. Believe in the difference you will make, and the New Order will find you.”
